No-training days

Winter Season

Training takes place every week, starting from September, as follows:

• Tuesdays: training for the teams:

  • The CERN I Training starts at 19:45 at:

    Ecole CEPTA-Mécanique,
    avenue Louis Bertrand 38, 1213 Petit Lancy
    (access from "chemin du Fort-de-l'Ecluse") (map).

  • The CERN II (mixed) team training takes place from 20:00 to 22:00 at:

Cycle d'Orientation de la Golette,

rue de la Golette 17, 1217 Meyrin (map).

After the Tuesday training we usually meet over pizza and beer at the Pizzaria La Meyrinoise.

• Fridays: 

  Open volleyball trainings are every Friday at Ecole Mecanique (map) from 20:00 to 22:00

  except the days when CERN I has a league match:

  or there is a no-training day due to school holidays etc.

  You are kindly requested to send an email to the organizer each time you are planning to attend a Friday training in order to better prepare the practice depending on the number of participants.

Summer Season

From June to September, when the weather is fine, we play outdoors.
(When weather is good, at 18:30 we play grass-volley in front of building 40)

Championship

The AGVB Championship starts in October and runs until May.

Dates and results of the matches are accessible during the season per team.

To participate weekly attendance to the training is required.
